Hmmmsssss

In record, i think this is the 4th of 5th moth i've seen in MY residence these 2 months.Weirrrrrrrrd.Cos moths are like rare creatures to me.You hardly see them. What makes it weiiiiiirder is that these moth sightings only started AFTER my blog started.Yeah i meant the name in reference, obviously.Weiiiiiiiiirdish. A tad spooky?Cos there's myths of people associating moths with the dead? But oh well. If moths like me this season, so be it.Ack.

But seriously, i hope they can go find some other habitat soon.Hur.Thanks my flutterfriends.

Oh speaking of which, i recall chancing upon somebody's blog recently, and this is something he mentioned.

Apparently, moths are programmed to fly in a straight line, towards the light that is emitted from the moon, or to where the light from the moon shines. But becos of obstacles we have all around, deflecting or blocking the light's pathway, their flight becomes slightly erratic. Well true or not, i don't know. Not the time for moths research now. But interesting, nonetheless.

Oh yeah, I've been on a relentless music rampage once again. Its like an addiction really.

Erm. Its not really that much is it?

Erm. Ok.I've been a baaaaaad girl.

So i'm on an overdose now. As jinghui said, ' too much music, too little ears'.

How very right. And we so ever eager beavers greedy eaters, its time ..for a rest.

The weather is BEAUTIFUL tonight. The right amount of cool, NO dampening pitter patters , just beautiful. I shd be OUT, urrrgh. But oh well, this the first fri , since a loooong time, that i've pre planned to stay home.Like a week before.Yeap.Didnt call nobody.

And well, now im bored.

Bleah.Such an irony.

Oh, and i think.I'm low on iron. The couple of blackouts i've experienced so far, though less than 5, well 4 makes no diff, but im gonna have to start taking it seriously. And prob throw in more iron-rich foods in my diet.Argh.Hate being weak.in ANY way.Who does, i mean.Yeah.

The yearsssssss hiatus from exercise has caused my entire health and energy level to drop volumes. Shit pits. Need to work out on something SOON.But if u don't hear nothing abt it in time to come, please drop me a harsh reminder.Cos it prob means i've ONCE again procrastinated.Fuckin disease i tell u. Procrastinators shd seriously stay away from each other, they just help destruct one another. Oh, make a change together u say? Well yeah, but those u only see on TV.

Anyways, finished the Adrian Mole series 1, and Vernon God Little.Pretty good stuff. As the former is good for light reads, light wit, over a cuppa cof, i kinda relate more to the latter. Heavier in the language, and stuff that gets u thinkin ( but no, not those super duper lit shit that makes u dwell into neverland), very real, very raw.I like.

And the guy,the author, Dbc Pierre, just churns out these quotes of his own that made me go ' HEYYY thats how i always thought.GOODNESS.' so many times, its crazzzzy.Haven't come across ANY writings that made me relate in that way before, well perhaps thats cos i read as much as i move house.Bwaha.But oh well, its good stuff, go pick it up if u can.

Well ok, i can't resist but give u this piece of review.

The surprise winner of the 2003 Man Booker Prize, DBC Pierre's debut novel, Vernon God Little, makes few apologies in its darkly comedic portrait of Martirio, Texas, a town reeling in the aftermath of a horrific school shooting. Fifteen-year-old Vernon Little narrates the first-person story with a cynical twang and a four-letter barb for each of his diet-obsessed townsfolk. His mother, endlessly awaiting the delivery of a new refrigerator, seems to exist only to twist an emotional knife in his back; her friend, Palmyra, structures her life around the next meal at the Bar-B-Chew Barn; officer Vaine Gurie has Vernon convicted of the crime before she's begun the investigation; reporter Eulalio Ledesma hovers between a comforting father-figure and a sadistic Bond villain; and Jesus, his best friend in the world, is dead--a victim of the killings. As his life explodes before him, Vernon flees his home in pursuit of a tropical fantasy: a cabin on a beach in Mexico he once saw in the movie Against All Odds. But the police--and TV crews--are in hot pursuit.

Vernon God Little is a daring novel and demands a patient reader, not because it is challenging to read--Pierre's prose flows effortlessly, only occasionally slipping from the unmistakable voice of his hero--but because the book skates so precariously between the almost taboo subject of school violence and the literary gamesmanship of postmodern fiction. Yet, as the novel unfolds, Pierre's parodic version of American culture never crosses the line into caricature, even when it climaxes in a death-row reality TV show. And Vernon, whose cynicism and smart-ass "learnings" give way to a poignant curiosity about the meaning of life, becomes a fully human, profoundly sympathetic character. --Patrick O'Kelley
